  1. The new podcast mentioned in the interview is Confessions of An EMS Newbie, http://www.emsnewbie.com/

  2. Sterling and Jay,
Thank you so much for featuring my question about microphones today – I could hardly believe it when I heard it on the podcast.

Also – a few months ago you asked how one could do multiple skype video/audio channels. I built a setup to handle four skype video/audio participants based on a cheaper version of Leo Laporte’s setup. It was about $2400 total, but still a fraction of what Leo’s setup or a true video studio would cost.

Drop me an email if you would like the details.

  3. Hi guys,

Firstly, thanks so much for mentioning my comment . . . I nearly crashed my car when I heard you say my name!

Also, I, like Ron, also found you guys via Jason’s podcast site. I did exactly the same and Googled something like “how to podcast” and then found IBM from there (although the route was not clear as Ron also mentioned). So, yes – this site is definitely worth exploring to see how you can build stronger / clearer links with IBM.

    Thanks again!

    Kevin

P.S. a quick apology for the lack of new podcasts over the last few weeks . . my wife and I have just celebrated the birth of our second child so I’ve taken a bit of time away from the ‘day-job.’ Back now and working on some fresh stuff to get up ASAP!

  4. Sorry for the delayed response (we’ve been on vacation) but for those who want a “twit-like” studio to do video and audio podcasts live over the internet with skype here it is:

  5. Sometimes you hear something you’ve heard a hundred times before in just the right way so that it finally sinks in. That happened to me today. When Ron mentioned in passing that he ended up getting a lot of traffic to his site by commenting on someone else’s blog it finally made sense.

Since I am a natural introvert I am actively pushing myself to interact more, both through Twitter as well as commenting on other great content.

Thanks again for offering up one more great idea at just the right time.

    Paul
