  • The special “sales hooks” that will get your followers clicking the buy button
  • The secret e-mail marketing tool that we use in every promo

Quick Tip

Since the beginning of Internet Business Mastery we have used and recommended Aweber. That is still our top recommendation.

However, iContact is another e-mail list manager in our tool belt. you might wonder why we use two different services.

The strength of iContact is that you can upload a list from a file without iContact asking everyone on that list to verifiy their subscription.

This allows you to take lists from all kinds of valuable sources (e.g. webinar attendees, offline lists, unverified subscribers from Aweber) and send e-mail broadcasts to them. This can easily boost your sales and clicks by 10% or more during promotions.

Action Guide

  • Choose a holiday and create a story for your promotion that relates to the holiday (e.g. New Year’s resolutions)
  • Prepare your offer(s). Include at least one “sales hook” like a new bonus or a discount.
  • Write 3-5 e-mails for the promotion. Emphasize the hook and the deadline.
  • Segment your e-mail lists so that everyone sees an offer for something they have never bought from you.
  • Send the e-mails out. The most effective schedule is daily.

  1. This is a great tip and something we practice. We had a big Christmas/New Year sale that was highly successful. We had to cut our commission to get the price where we wanted it, but overall, we had more sales than we would have had.

For us, this is a good way to get folks off the fence one way or the other.

    • I’m glad it worked out for your! Just getting them in and as a customer works really great if you have a high conversion back end as well! You can almost break even on the first sale, if you have a great backend.

  2. Bringing the “fencer sitters” in is indeed what it is all about. Some people just need a little bit extra to help them make up their minds.

  3. Maybe it’s just me, but the title page and some text & graphics in the action guide PDF are mangled (turned into blocks of black, white or gray. Checked it with another browser and got the same results.

    • Hi Dave,

Strange. What are you opening the PDF with? Could you send me a screenshot of what you see? Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

      • I tried both Safari (to download and view) and Firefox to download and Preview to view.

I sent a few screenshots to the support address.
